Hi! My name is Nellie and I am a beautiful Lilac tortie point girl with sapphire eyes and an illustrious dappled coat.
I came to Happy Cats when my previous owner was no longer able to provide for my care.
I am an incredibly sweet and sensitive girl, I am very attuned to my environment and appreciate a more quiet and predictable lifestyle.
I had a hard time in my previous home because my sister was possessive over her food and litter box and I am just too sweet to stand my ground. So I would do best in a home without other animals. Where I can have my human to cuddle with all to myself!
I get scared when i hear running feet and loud, unexpected noises. I think it would be best if I went to a home without young children.
My favorite things are my daily brushing sessions and chasing strings. I may start out as a Funny Valentine but will gradually blossom into the perfect snuggle bun after I feel comfortable and safe.
I love when I hear sweet talk! I love to be reassured and told how beautiful and lovely I am. This makes me gain confidence enough to offer some loving side nuzzles and purrs. I feel safest when I am in control of our petting sessions. They call me an “ask first” kitty.
I have been known to rub against your face and even give you kisses . I am wishing fro just the right person or family that is willing to give me enough time to show my best self. I really am just a curious and adoring kitten inside.
