Hello! My name is Meredith. I am a handsome tabby girl with golden yellow eyes.
I came to Happy Cats when I was found outside, having a difficult time navigating my surroundings alone.
I am searching for someone with a special heart who may be able to serve as my guardian angel as I continue to integrate into what they call the spoiled indoor queenie life?
I am such a sweetheart but it takes me a while to get to know you and trust that you have nice hands and mean to take care of me. I have a hard time seeing your face and hearing your voice due to my vision and hearing impairments and sometimes, that can make me a little scared and nervous. I like to come to you when I am ready. I will need at least two months in a safe space while I get used to my new home and family.
When I first came in, I was misunderstood when I would move to swipe or give a love bite. But I did not want to be mean, I just got startled! I am actually very good at letting you know how to get along with me, and all I really long for is to snooze on a loving lap all day and know that I am safe.
Due to my traumatic adventures outside, I have some old healed injuries that still bother me sometimes. My medication help so much and it has also helped me know that there is more to life than my aches and pains. Like playtime and a warm cushy bed! I also adore gazing out of windows and basking in the warm sun. Please talk to a happy cats team member for more details about my medications.
I LOVE to be brushed and I have been clicker trained! I have a soft spot for yummy treats and they do help me build repour with my friends.
I tolerate other cats and sometimes a nice, cat friendly dog who is calm and lowkey. They need to know what boundaries are because I can’t always see them coming to say hi to me. I would be happiest all by myself with just my human/humans, however. I need a home without children.
Would you consider welcoming me into your home? I am searching for a special person who would be willing to work with my along side of Happy Cats with their support. I just want a patient, quiet and loving home where I know that my parent’s will ask first before receiving love or play. As “say please” cat this would be the best approach. I hope my new person will be someone who has a space for a special needs kitty and the time and focus to figure out our own language.
Please call one of my Happy Cats Haven Representatives at 719 362 4600 for more details!
I can be adopted for $60 which includes my spay, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
