Julius leads the way

by

Chauncey showed up at the home of a longtime Happy Cats friend. A stunning ginger Persian, he had obviously been on the street for a while, as he was matted and very thin.

He was also one of the most confident cats we’ve ever met. He went on walkabout while being fostered and was found a few houses away, helping them with a remodel in the midst of generator and nail gun noise and building commotion!

Our friends at Catology Boarding & Grooming reserve lion cuts for the most serious cases, but he definitely needed one. If anything, it made him even more adorable.

Max and Lauren had wanted a cat for a while and were taking the big step of entering their first pet-friendly lease together. They were looking for an Adventure Cat and who better than Chauncey?

He’s now called Julius and loves his life with his new family, going on hikes and soaking up all the attention as their only pet.

Lauren says, “Adopting Julius has changed our lives for the better. I can’t imagine my life without Julius now!

He is goofy, sweet, dramatic and very energetic. I don’t know if I’ve ever loved something the way I love him.

I’m so grateful to Happy Cats for taking such good care of him until we found him and brought him into our home. They made the process of adopting Julius not only simple, but also provided us with so much support.

You could tell from walking into the building how much the staff and owners care about the cats residing there. I love Happy Cats so much and I truly recommend adopting your furry friend from them!”
