Black cats get adopted!

by

I wanted to adopt black cats and when I saw Scout and Loki (now Lucky) were available at HCH, I thought we might be a perfect match: black cats, young adults and litter mates.

When I went to meet them, Lucky jumped in my lap. It was love at first sight!

I learned that black cats are the last to get adopted, but I can’t imagine why. My boys are so loving and we are happy together. They watch me as I leave for work in the morning (OK, I feel guilty about this), and greet me when I come home at night.

Scout and Lucky have different personalities— If the doorbell rings, Scout runs towards it and Lucky runs away from it. But these good luck black cats are my my constant companions. I am so grateful that we found each other.
