Helix and Tysen

by

Helix and his adopted sister were surrendered when their very active family moved out of the country. He had been especially bonded to his catmom and his tabby sister Ava, and was very sad when they moved.

After several weeks, it became clear to us that Ava was just not that into Helix. She was as outgoing as he was shy, so we decided not to hold her back but to let her go home with a new family.

Then along came Paul, looking for a friend for his cat Tysen. It just so happened that Tysen is also a big handsome tabby like Ava.

Needless to say, Helix is a happy boy once again! Paul says, “Helix is doing fantastic. I am so happy with the decision to adopt him!

“It took a few days for my other cat Tysen to accept him, and maybe a week and a half for him to adjust to his new surroundings, but once he got comfortable in the new space he’s really opened up.

He and Tysen get along great. He likes to chase strings and toy mice and snuggles up at night when it’s time for bed. I am so happy to have Helix in my home!!”

We’re thrilled we could help him find just the right family, with just the right brother cat, for this next stage in his life!
