My name is Tula, I am a short-haired white girl with one brown ear and a fluffy tabby tail. The cutest things about me are the white spot at the end of my striped tail and my multicolored toe beans.
I am a cuddle bug who will happily purr while curled up on your lap, but I am also a survivor who was recently brought in from the cold. I have my ear-tipped badge of courage because I was trapped with a group of community cats during a TNR project. I am not at all feral but I have some anxiety after my ordeal. I sometimes get upset when people leave me alone. I have gotten a lot more comfortable after a short time in a foster home.
I am not ready to live with small children or high-energy animals. It is unclear how I would be with a friendly cat or a calm dog, I will need a very slow and gentle introduction.
I may be a little shy when I am in a new home, but once I get comfortable, I am very friendly and social, even with new people. I love laser pointers, wand toys, and anything with catnip.
I am currently in foster care! If you are interested in meeting me please fill out an adoption application with my name on it and one of our adoption counselors will call you to setup a meet and greet at the foster’s house!
You can adopt me for $90 which includes my spay, vaccinations, microchip, food & litter starter kit and a free well-kitty checkup with one of our vet partners.
You can click here to fill out an Adoption Application. Someone should get back to you within 48 hours after you send it in. If you’d like to contact someone more quickly, please call Happy Cats at 719-362-4600.
