Missy safe & sound

by

Imagine you’re a little orange catolescent, rare for a girl, just come into your first heat. Imagine you do all the things nature intended, like being extra loving and vocal.

You may be attracting unwanted tomcat visitors. Now imagine being tossed out on a country road in the middle of winter, just because of that. Imagine trying your best to survive.

When a kind person rescued little Vivienne on that road, she was tucked in and scared, but not hopeless. After we spayed her, she bounced back into a sparkling little cat, ready for her new family.

Mikayla was a dog person, ready for her first cat, and our little ginger won her over. Now called Missy, she comes readily to her name. Mikayla says she loves her new home and toys, and loves helping with everything like a perfect little Kitty Admin.

She loves to play hide and seek when Mikayla is home. Still vocal–and maybe a bit of a diva 😻–she lets Mikayla know when it’s time to eat…or play.

She’s understandably a little wary with strangers but it’s not long before she’s demanding cuddles from them too. Welcome home, little Missy!
