Freya the Queen

by

Maxine was found abandoned by a sister rescue and brought to us at Happy Cats. A stunning silver tabby with classic side swirls, her soft sage-green eyes always seemed like she was waiting for the next bad thing to happen.

We thought she had found her family when she was adopted, but soon we got the news that she was just too active, too curious at her new home. Those lovely eyes were even sadder when she came back, but she tried her best to be brave.

But she didn’t have to wait long till Erika found her! Now called Freya, she has finally found someone who loves her for herself.

She now sleeps next to Erika in bed, kissing her and chirping excitedly when it’s time to get up. Erika plays with her a couple times a day so she can keep herself entertained with toys on her own.

She says Freya is the chattiest cat she’s ever had – she’s chirping and making cute high-pitched noises all the time. They  have full conversations about how beautiful she is multiple times a day!

She loves their patio and gets to go on walks in her harness. Erika says she looks forward to all the ways Freya will blossom with many long years together!
