Joy with Ollie & Andy

by

Little Lime & Coconut were rescued from trying to survive outside as wee kittens. Life outside is hard enough but beautiful silver Lime is almost completely blind so her chances of survival would have been very small. Her  brother Coconut is mostly white with black spots so his chances would not have been much better.

Lime’s impairment actually made her more confident than Coconut because she couldn’t see all the dangers lurking outside. They had two loving foster families and she was always the fearless one!

Kayce and her family decided they would be the perfect home for a visually impaired kitten…and her shy brother.

Lime is now Ollie and Coconut is now Andy. Kayce says, “These two cats have been the most joyful addition to our household. Both are incredibly curious, snuggly, and full of love.

Ollie is the more bold, brave, and extroverted of the two. Andy is a bit more cautious and calculated.

Their companionship is the strongest part about them; they spend countless hours chasing, wrestling, and playing tricks on one another.

I cannot properly express how wonderful these cats are and how good of a fit they have been for our house. They have adjusted so well and I am so proud of them every day.

Thank you to the Haven household for supporting this adoption and for going above and beyond in accommodating our schedules to make this possible.”
