Happy 10th birthday Emmy!

by

Last summer was Emmy’s 10th adoption anniversary, and she turned 10 years old too! This beautiful tortoiseshell Siamese lady was rescued as a kitten from trying to survive outside in the blazing Lamar summer.

She was soon adopted by Mary Ellen to be friends with her other kitty. Mary Ellen says, “It’s been 10 years today since I adopted my Emmy from you guys. Thank you for helping me find my little best friend.

I’m glad I have her since my 17 year old kitty passed away last year so I thank you so much for her. 🥰 She’s got it real rough as you can see.

I’ve always loved how much personality she has! We have many morning conversations about how cute she is. She chirps instead of meows most of the time.

When I put my shoes on in the morning to go to work she puts her paw on the side of my leg to ask for pets before I go. She sleeps on my lap for hours.

She plays fetch with hair ties and zip ties, and she loves a good you tube bird video.”

Happy birthday, beautiful Emmy!
