Assistant Purrista
Do you like cats and coffee? If not coffee, how about chai or ice cream 😻? Happy Cats Coffeeshop is looking for a weekend Assistant Purrista to run our Happy Cats Coffeeshop.
Job description summary: Our Assistant Purrista helps the Coffeeshop Manager with daily operations, including all aspects of running the Coffeeshop.
Employment schedule: 8 hours per week: 8a – 12p Saturday & Sunday
Preferred education/training: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous barista or food service experience preferred. Commitment to Happy Cats Haven’s mission essential.
Job duties
The Assistant Purrista will be responsible for the following, among other duties:
- Manage open hours of coffeeshop, supplying visitors with beverages, wrapped pastries and ice cream
- Train and schedule volunteers to work in coffeeshop
- Assist with maintaining inventory and workable level of coffeeshop supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of coffeeshop per Health Department protocols
Salary: This position starts at $14.42/hour. Free coffee & half off food treats included!
