Hi, my name is Winston, and I am a sweetheart, gentle orange & white tabby boy. I was brought to Happy Cats from another rescue with some of my buddies to help us find our furever homes.
I am a Funny Valentine which means I may be a little slow to warm up to new people and spaces at first but once you give me some time, I am the sweetest little guy! I’m pretty sensitive to peoples feelings, my surroundings and big noises, so i am dreaming of a loving and quite home where I can relax and not have to worry too much. I am very affectionate and other times I might be a little shy.
If it is very noisy or busy at the rescue, I tend to hide. You may not see me right away when you arrive but look for me in the Kitty City and I am usually sleeping in there. You can lure me out with toys and calling my name though!
I still love to play and can be curious and fun when I want to be. I also let my most favorite people hold me and snuggle against me, cheek to cheek. I am a cuddle bug at heart, it just takes me a moment to get to know you!
I can get along with other friendly cats, but I am fearful of dogs. I have no experience with kids, but it is possible I can love them too (if they are gentle with me) and older.
My tail was fractured way at the top, so I had to have it removed and I feel much better now. I am FIV Positive which is something to be aware of but not scared of, as I am a healthy young cat. Here is an article to give you more information on this before you adopt me.
I am around 1 year old and can be adopted for $100 which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kit, and a free well-kitty checkup each with our wonderful partner vets to help you get started.
