Hi friends, I’m Luke! My buddies call me Luke the Duke and you can see why, with my dapper white mustache, blaze and toe socks, not to mention my big green eyes and fluffy tail. I came to Happy Cats when my family became too busy for me to handle.
At 14 years young, I still have a lot of years to live and a lot of love to give! I’m a very sweet and gentle little Snuggle Bunny who just wants to spend hours on your lap. At night I love to cuddle up next to you with my paws wrapped around your arm to keep us warm, purring my little whiskers off. And I give the best headbonks for kisses you’ll ever get!
Just because I’m a senior doesn’t mean I’m a couch potato. If you get out the wand toys, especially fleece or sparkle wands, I’m all over them, leaping and pouncing! As you can see, playtime is my happy time and I would love to play several times a day if you have time for me.
My former guardian said I marked my territory so I was kept in a crate most of the time. Happy Cats doesn’t turn away from cats like me and instead, solves our behaviors by finding out what we need.
My biggest need is that if I’m around other cats, I get fearful and that’s why I mark. Once I became the only cat in foster care, I have used my box like the good boy I want to be! My other need is that my box be scooped daily and changed every week, as I like things clean and tidy. I’ll bet you like your bathroom clean too!
In foster care, I blossomed from a cat who was shut down and frozen to a lively, happy companion. Along with being your One & Only gentleman, a quiet and predictable home is what I need to live my best life, so I’d love a new family with only adults to be my best forever friends.
I can be adopted for $60 which includes my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food and litter starter kit, a free well-kitty checkup to help you get started.
