If you have a weakness for tabby boys, come meet Klaus & Kringle! Both dark brown tabbies, Klaus has the broken mackerel stripes and Kringle has the dark black swirls on his sides. They were rescued as older kittens trying to survive outside.
As TLC catolescents of about 9 months, they were very scared and shy when they first came in. But our behavior volunteers have worked wonders with them and now they happily come to their names for pets! Now at 1 year they have matured and settled into themselves.
Both boys are Funny Valentines in that they want to come out to play, but they are shy and tend to hide at first. Once they feel safe and comfortable, their kitty energy comes out and their Party Animal side awakens. Bring out the wand toys and crinkle balls to get these boys their exercise!
Both kitties do well with other cats. They have even9 helped raise quite a few kittens, helping the young ones who come into our open space to play fair and gain confidence before they go home! Both boys are particularly fond of their friends who are also available for adoption Larry & Moe! These cats are too shy to do well with active dogs. As TLC kitties, they will blossom best in a home with adults and older children.
They have never lived anywhere but the Haven, so will need at least a month in their Safe Room to make sure they bond with their new family and are confident before they start to learn about regular home life. You’ll get to experience every new thing with them, just as if they were kittens!
We love keeping best friends together, so our Friends & Family Discount lets the pair go home with an adoption fee of $150. That includes their neuters, microchips, vaccinations, a food & litter starter kit each plus a free well-kitty checkup with one of our wonderful partner vets each.
As TLC kitties, Klaus & Kringle also come with TLC training to help them continue to blossom, a top-loading carrier each, a pet cam to help you monitor them for their extra Safe Room time, their toys and beds as well as a home installation with their friends on the behavior team so they get the best possible start with their new family.
