Howdy stranger, I’m Kara! I’m a sassy, sleek, silver lady with stunning emerald green eyes that don’t miss a thing! I have the long lean build of my cousins the Oriental Shorthairs and the deep silvery gray of Russian Blues. I came here when my people couldn’t care for me any more.
At a little over a year old, I’m not out of kittenhood yet, so plan on watching me entertain you for hours when it’s playtime. I love wand toys with feathers on the end and if you have jingle balls, it brings out my soccer star as I chase and dribble them with my front paws down the hall! I love to watch, play with and drink running water, so my adoption comes with a nice new Leo’s Paw fountain to keep me hydrated and entertained.
As long as I’ve had enough playtime, I’ll be your sweetest Snuggle Bunny, ready to trade purrs for gentle pets. But I’m a great little Kitty Secretary too, following you around to help you live your best life! Like a lot of kitties, I need a little time to process before I’m ready for larger groups, but get out the wand toys and that will help me be confident.
I sometimes give “love bites” or gentle nips when I am frustrated or haven’t had enough playtime. I’m in training to stop that behavior and am learning fast. I come with instructions on how to continue to be a good kitty…just don’t fall for the rub my tummy ploy!
I would love to be your One and Only, but the nice cats here have taught me that I can be friends with cats too, as long as they don’t care if I’m a little bossy. I will do best with older children and probably no dogs.
