Hiya! Meet Ekho and Eryx, a charming and playful pair of brown tabby kittens. They were rescued and brought to Happy Cats with their mom and siblings. Ecko is the cute little tabby girl and her brother Eryx is her twin with cute white socks!
Because of their scary time outside, they were a little hand shy when they first came in. Gentle petting, play and treats by our loving volunteers have taught them that hands aren’t always scary, and they continue to grow more confident each day.
Ecko is the confident one who will meet you at the door, ready for new things. She ove all people and when she gets to know you well, she likes to be held and give purrs, a true Snuggle Bunny.
Eryx can be concerned by fast or unexpected movements and watches Ecko to make sure that humans are okay before he comes out to play and say hi. He has graduated to a Funny Valentine and may well be a Snuggle Bunny like his sister once he knows you’re safe. With a gentle hand, he’s happy to come out for purrs and headbonks now.
They play with extreme enthusiasm, will press their heads into hands for pets and love, and like to explore laps for fun and treats! They are a joy to play with and are thrilled by a variety of toys.
They are looking forward to a kind purrson to take them to a place where they are always safe to be themselves. They do well with other cats but will do best in a home without dogs or small children.
These cute siblings come with a home installation by a volunteer from our behavior team who has been working with Eryx. They also come with a Feliway plugin to calm them and help with their transition.
At about 5 months old, they can be adopted together for $210, thanks to the Friends and Family discount, sponsored by Petco Love! It also includes their spay & neuter, vaccinations, microchips, food and litter starter kits and a free well-kitty checkup for each kitten to help you get started.
