Healing with Pepper & Basil

by

Tabby sisters Pepper and Basil were rescued in freezing March with their other herby siblings, Poppy and Fennel, as wee orphans who would not have survived outside. They were bottle fed by one of our wonderful foster moms and then finished socializing with another, becoming lovely friendly little tykes (and centerfolds!) as you can see.

Ryan and Lynn and their family were looking for a female kitten as they’d just lost their beloved elderly cat. How could they resist this adorable pair, especially out of kitten season?

The family has a cattle dog named Elsa who was also missing her kitty friend. They tell us the girls have adjusted well and are getting along with Elsa.

They are busy filling the hole left by their other kitty with joy, affection, and energy!
