Earl & Roo

by

Earl and Roo are two of the Tea Kittens, along with their brother Chai, rescued with their mama Jasmine who was trying to keep them alive out in the cold. Earl was a little more shy when they first came back from foster care, as their body language shows us. (It also shows why we often get donations of cubby beds…because most cats and kittens prefer to lie on top rather than burrow in!)

With the help of our loving volunteers who used their best Fear Free techniques to reward little Earl for gentle petting, he soon realized that hands were pleasant, not scary. Soon he was coming to his name and asking for pets, along with his brothers!

Their new catmom Alexis tells us, “Earl and Roo are doing amazing! They are so sweet and so playful.

Here they are cuddled up on me in one pic and my husband in the other. They already love their new beds and toys!

They are eating and drinking, and using their litter boxes! So cuddly, they play with each other a lot and its so fun and cute to watch! ”
