Staying safe under COVID-19

Thanks for your support, everyone!

As an animal shelter, we provide a Critical Service in Colorado. We bid farewell to our wonderful volunteers for now and are maintaining with minimal staff.

Of course we still have cats who need homes and cats waiting desperately to be rescued.

Every adoption saves two: the lucky cat who finds their family and the next homeless one waiting to come inside.

We have already been scheduling visits and adoptions through appointments only. This allows you to meet your cat one-on-one or in small family groups and allows us to sanitize before and after visits to keep you safe.

We are also doing adoptions online and via phone to maintain social distance, along with offering help for getting your new kitty home and into their Safe Room with minimal risk.

Please call us at 719-362-4600 to schedule visits or potential adoptions with our kitties.

As with all social interaction, please follow the CDC recommendations:

  • Stay home if you have symptoms, are over 65 or vulnerable to illness
  • Wash/sanitize hands frequently
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Maintain social distance if you must go out in public

We have pledged to do our part by continuously disinfecting surfaces and washing hands, as well as making sure our cats are healthy too.
