Kara’s adventures continue

by

Sleek silver Kara was brought in as a youngster by a guardian who was afraid the dogs where he was living were going to harm her. She quickly adapted to her foster home and came back to the Haven sassy and independent, ready to find a new family.

Laura had moved here from Texas and was looking for a cat who could be okay at home alone while she worked but who would soak up attention when she came home. Kara soon charmed her because who could resist that look?

Laura says, “My little girl seems to be mostly adjusted to the rhythm of our home and is enjoying her time. We just had our first vet checkup a week ago and they said she is looking healthy and happy. ❤️

I had the vet check out the fit of her harness, and we took our first little short mini-adventure outside my apartment with the leash and harness yesterday. She loved being closer to the wildlife she watches out our window.
She’s already learned to sit and shake on command (which she will quickly do for our once-a-day squeeze treat… haha)
We have figured out what toys are her favorite pretty quickly. I have three different wands, a few different tunnel options, and her favorite little chasing toys that she can bat around the room for an hour without getting bored. 😂
My little girl is going to be spoiled since she’s my only baby and only family in town.”
